When Bakers Write
Most bakers stay in the kitchen, concerning themselves with flour, yeast and butter. But some bakers, and this one in particular, stray from wheat to words.
I have been a writer just a wee bit longer than I have been a baker. This is only because I wrote on stories and poems on paper just a few years earlier than I was ever permitted to heat an oven, tool around with the family electric mixer, and have free range with our kitchen. So, for matters purely technical, I have been a writer marginally longer than I have been a baker. Both passions run deep and each feed the other. Please enjoy some of these essays. Some are whimsical, some romantic, others funny or just quiet observations on life.
