Please note this issue was brought to you in and published on time, in spite of a complete computer crash and the birth of a new baby boy for my web guru, Paul Mackenzie and his wife. Congratulations! Nor sleet nor snow nor new babies nor computer viruses stop BB!  That said, you might find the odd glitch some links but all will be adjusted soon.

Speaking of snow, I wish more of you were here (Montreal) for my Tea and Talks series of lectures, kicking off with How To Fall In Love or Looking for Mr. Darcy start next week, at Diamond Books in Montreal. The schedule includes talks (and tea and scones) on The Kindness of Karma, The Business of Writing, The Subject Was Roses (on scent, perfume, and fragrance for
both home and personal), Introduction to Tango, The Art of Journaling, and more. All lectures come with book recommendations and of course, a special discounts from Diamond on new books. I will also be signing my current cookbooks.

My new cookbook, A Passion for Baking is now in the galley stage whichmeans, I am now looking at layouts and a 'real' book versus 1000 singlespaced pages of manuscript with ten people's corrections on each page. The view, at this stage, is far nicer and it is so exciting!
