Ms. Schlegel is primarily an oil painter. Traveling to Paris to further her knowledge of 19th century art, she studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Des Beaux-Arts. She has painted in the south of France and Giverny, home of Claude Monet.  Ms. Schlegel has had several exhibitions in Europe including Germany and France and this summer she will live and paint in a beautiful villa in the French Riviera.

Ms. Schgegel is known for a gently whimsy, gorgeous use of colour, and artistically enhanced, wholly inspiring, everyday things, re-contexted through her artist's eye and careful brush.
