Marcy Goldman's
Wheat Siren (c)

Wheat Siren combines the scents of Autumn Harvest with the heady aromas produced by the expert Wheat Siren in her kitchen. The way to a man's heart? Flour and Flowers, and kisses of Honey & Spice.

"It's my first 'scented' recipe!

"For those of you familiar with my work in baking and scent, Wheat Siren is the persona behind Wheatland, the nickname of the Camelot-styled world of baking, prose, scent and art, synonymous with BetterBaking.com. It doesn't take a Wheat Siren to know that golden new wheat, harvested in autumn is magical stuff. Cue the goddess Demeter and hark back to a time when the women who had a way with flour and spice also had their way with the men who ventured near them. Feminism? Posh! The fundamental things still apply - a woman who is mistress of her culinary domain is a queen. This is but some of the inspiration behind my first perfume, Wheat Siren. It embodies a warmth and radiance of harvest time, when the wheat is high and brimming, awaiting the knowing touch of the baker lass. Wheat Siren perfume offers notes of flowery fresh orange blossoms, a lashing of pure vanilla, a tender, light honey kiss and a grounding dab of earthy ginger, all fused into a light but indelibly memorable, feminine bouquet that is the signature scent of the Wheat Siren in you." ~ Marcy Goldman
