It is also where you can browse new cookbooks that I review, and neat selections in fiction, new age/spiritual (nothing dippy, soundly spiritual), fragrance, lifestyle, books on writers in the act of writing – in short, an eclectic grab bag of special and neat things to read that I think are enriching. Are you are fascinated with bookends as I am? What hard-core book reader isn't? I just started collecting bookends and this book only whets my appetite for more. The authors have carefully researched and included photographs of major eras and types of bookends - from metal, wood, copper, to themes of animals, myth, Western, birds - you name it. Each is illustrated by plate and year, and in many cases, the prices such bookends fetch. (Ebay is perfect for hunting some down). This is a fascinating book and from a company that specializes in books on collectibles and does it exceptionally well.
