BurnGuard Oven Mitts

We have tried all kinds of oven mitts over the years and BurnGuard brand mitts are the best we have seen. They are rated for 450 degrees F. They're available in a variety of configurations from conventional mitts to thumb-over-palm, three-finger, five-finger and others. The mitts are manufactured by Tucker Industries in Colorado.

The blue fabric shell is Dupont "Nomex" which is flame and scorch resistant. These mitts are equipped with a "VaporGuard" barrier to protect you against burns from boiling water, steam, hot oil, hot grease, spills and splatters.

They protect as well when they're wet as when they'rel dry. They can be washed in the sink and used immediately without fear of steam burns. They can also be washed in a washing machine and dried in a clothes dryer. Under normal household use, they'll last for years. Recommended.
