You don't see cakes like this everyday! Easy to make, moist, high, and a good keeper. I bake this in a springform pan, but you can use 2 9 inch layer pans instead. Baked in a springform, this cake is still a sturdy wonder and takes well to being split in three layers, iced and then bathed in a chocolate glaze. In this shot, it's crowned in a few rose petals for a Valentine's Day nod.
