Honey Halvah Biscotti/Mandelbrot
A ribbon of crushed walnuts, vanilla halvah, and a smackeroo of new honey ripple through this amazing biscotti-cum-mandelbrot. Bubbie never had mandelbrot like this – hence the title ‘biscotti/mandelbrot’, beguiling a few generations and courting new appetites in one sweet bite of nomenclature. A great nibble for the holidays and a good keeper. Middle eastern food stores have halvah off the block, which is best value.
