Double Sour Cream Devil’s Food Cake a la 9 by 13

Double sour cream (but you can lite) in the cake and the icing makes this doubly luscious.This is a big, bold, chocolate cake that cuts in hunks and wows them every time. It is flavor packed but the glossy frosting is a final touch.

The sour cream tenderizes the cake crumb but make the icing soft and shiny and not too sweet. A great chocolate sheet cake that is outstanding as a layer cake too. You can white whole-wheat flour in this recipe. Do make sure you stir, and then measure the flour for this baby.
