Pendelton Pie is essentially chocolate pecan pie, that features a unique chocolate shortbread tart/ crust and luscious filling.  It's both extravagant and delicious. There’s so many Pendelton Pie recipes floating around but my version (to me) is tweaked to perfection. It's pecan pie at the next level. Try it now; serve it up for Thanksgiving (Canadian or U.S.!). Corn syrup is a must in pecan pie but go the distance and get some Tate and Lyle's real corn syrup. It's totally aweseome, featuring a buttery, caramel flavor that really adds to the recipe.
