You might call this a coffeecake with all the wonderful elements and flavors of soda bread. Moist, fine-grained and a good keeper. It is an Americanized soda bread and a great introduction for neophytes. If you have some Kerry's Irish Gold butter, this would be over the top delicious but American or Canadian sweet butter is just fine.
